The Villa-core and factory lattice

The purpose of this project was to provide quelo architectural solutions for urban spaces unresolved in relation to their own public function, by inserting some historical buildings within a global reading of the urban structure. The urban center in question is characterized from a morphology comparable to a system of plates gradually decreasing toward the Po River Park.

This is a renovation project of a medieval Villa in a state of neglect, placed in a center of gravity compared to the urban context.

Our project involves the insertion of this historic building within a system of pedestrian paths, proposing a function of cultural and exhibition space, integrating a receptive function. The pedestrian system finally, through the construction of a continue walkways, intercepts the new residential area provided just downstream.
